The following is a small selection of recent testimonials
from Foxes Catering customers.
"Foxes Catering is a very personal style of catering
in your own home, you never ever feel "you have tasted
it before". Guests who may have experienced "Nick and
Karen" before are only too delighted to meet Nick and
taste Karen's wonderful food again.
They have catered for us on a number of occasions and
for different events from weddings, dinner and parties
for friends and, just recently, a lovely lunch party
for a special birthday.
The meals are always wonderful, from canapés through
to sumptuous puds - stuffed lambl with fine green beans
wrapped in bacon, plus other beautifully prepared vegetables
and vegetarian options for 120 guests at a wedding tasting
just like a meal at a 5* restaurant instead of the usual
mass catering wedding fare is just a small example of
the care and attention to food which Karen prepares
in her unique and thoughtful way. The food is carefully
sourced and Karen only uses the best ingredients.
No event for us is complete without Nick as front of
house. He takes care of everything - weddings, parties
and dinners run seamlessly and he copes with any crisis's
that may occur - you are never told about them or bothered
which makes for a very enjoyable event for the host
and hostess. You can leave everything in Nick's capable
hands - such is his attention to detail that you can
be assured that your guests want for nothing.

"The service provided to us and our guests on our
wedding day from Foxes Catering was absolutely faultless,
even when we dropped last-minute changes to the known
schedule on them, they simply reorganised as if it had
always been planned. They were absolutely amazing.
The food was superb and the biggest problem was deciding
on a final menu from the huge range of options Karen
suggested to us in the months before our big day - everything
sounded so good!
We had been told by many married friends that you never
stopped on your wedding day and it was so easy to not
eat a thing because you were always checking on something
or making sure guests were ok. But this was not the
case as Foxes assigned staff just for the two of us
who appeared out of nowhere with canapés for us and
drinks regardless of whether we were having photographs
taken outside or were circulating with guests at their
table. Nick managed everything front-of-house and we
felt in such good hands that we were able to relax and
enjoy the evening.
Four months after the wedding we still have people talking
about the food that was served at our wedding breakfast!
We'd both thoroughly recommend Foxes Catering to anybody
that is considering doing something a little different
with their wedding reception - you're in safe hands

I was sure you'd be exactly what we were looking for
( no "free" cake knives to be seen!), and then when

for really thinking about things that helped it all
work ( like suggesting which way round to use the barn)
and thank-you for your patience and tolerance with us

and, in particular, for your phone call the evening
before the wedding to reassure me that all would be
well- it was immensely comforting at a tense time! And
Karen, I've not even started on the food yet… but it
was superb. It was all exactly what we wanted and all
delicious. We've had so many positive comments about
the quality of the food- a friend who's an ex -chef
said it was the best food he's tasted ever at a wedding.
And you dealt with all the dietary complexities so well
too. I suppose the main thing to say is that we'd have
been lost without you, your experience and your practical
no- nonsense approach. You helped to create the sort
of wedding we wanted- relaxed, fun and a really good
party- in a challenging venue, without ever having to
compromise on the quality of anything or to pay ugly
sums of money…… all this and you were good company too!!!
Enough of the gushing- I'm sure you get the picture,
but I just wanted you to know how grateful I am for
your help in creating one of the best days I've ever
had."

dinner party. I can think of no greater luxury than
a wonderful meal cooked and beautifully served in the
comfort of our own home. We really feel that you Karen
excelled yourself in creating a superb menu, everything
was so delicious and well balanced. All our friends
have written expressing the same sentiments. You Nick,
are such a good 'Maitre', even finding the time to keep
the fire going in the sitting room! It was a joy to
find the kitchen immaculate and all the cutlery washed

"Struggling for inspiration for a surprise picnic
to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary? Who to call? Karen
and Nick of course--just the ones to offer a helping
hand. Nick and Karen managed to put together the most
romantic picnic for our wedding anniversary. They had
thought of absolutely everything, a rose, a menu, a
bottle of champagne, and the food was just FANTASTIC.
Our picnic was by the river, another of their suggestions,
and Nick and Karen had thought about a Fish menu which
worked really well, it was a chilly night but the hot
soup kept us warm. We had nibbles, starters, main course
and dessert - delicious. It was truly a night to remember
