Wedding Catering Case Study
From
day one neither of us wanted to have our wedding
catering managed in the all too familiar conveyor
belt manner of a hotel function room and our choice
of church meant that the most appropriate reception
venue was a village hall with basic catering facilities.
Whilst this first appeared daunting with a need to
provide a sit-down dinner for 60 guests, it didn't
phase Foxes Catering in the slightest.
From the very beginning we were both so impressed
with the service that Foxes provided. Their can-do
attitude and flexibility meant that no suggestion
was dismissed as impractical. If we wanted ice-carvings
they had mobile refrigeration solutions that could
cater for that. As it was we didn't want anything
like that, but they were full of great ideas and obviously
had a huge amount of experience to call upon and that
was such a relief.
We had many mouth-watering hours trying to whittle-down
a shortlist of canapés from the comprehensive suggestions
that Karen made, in the end settling on seven choices
for a mixed vegetarian and meat-eating guest list.
We also opted for a Mediterranean meze style main
course with lamb for the meat eaters and Halloumi
for the vegetarians as neither of us wanted chicken
or salmon - the clichéd safe-option served at so many
weddings.
Service on the day was faultless, even when we dropped
unexpected changes to the known schedule on them,
they simply reorganised as if it had always been planned.
They were absolutely amazing.
We
had been told by many married friends that you never
stop on your wedding day and it was so easy to not
eat a thing because you were always checking on something
or making sure guests were ok. Foxes assigned staff
just for the two of us and appeared out of nowhere
with canapés for us and drinks regardless of whether
we were having photographs taken outside or were circulating
with guests at their table.
Four months after the wedding we still have people
talking about the food that was served at our wedding
breakfast! We'd both thoroughly recommend Foxes Catering
to anybody planning a wedding, whether a standard
wedding breakfast or something a little different
with their wedding reception - you're in safe hands
and won't regret choosing them, we're so glad we hired
Foxes Catering.
